The eyelashes rub on the eye causing red eye, tearing, foreign body sensation and discharge. Entropion may be present at birth but can also occur as an adult.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ectropion<\/strong> is a condition where the eyelid margin (upper or lower) turns outward, away from the eye. This results in tearing, redness, irritation and discharge.
